Default Roles

The default role is the role that is automatically assigned to new users (system-wide roles), new project attendees (project roles), and new survey attendees (survey roles). Users can select a role other than the default when they are creating or editing the user, project, or survey. Administrators (or any user assigned a system-wide role enabled with the permission to manage roles and permissions) can choose which role is the default when they edit roles and permissions.
