Exporting Survey Responses

»To export survey responses

Select and expand the project in the Connections and Projects tree and click the Surveys branch.

Iasta SmartSource lists the surveys for the project in the right pane. Select the Responses/Reporting link below the survey name to open the Survey Response Management window.

Select the check boxes of the respondents, evaluators, and questions you wish to export or click on the toolbar and select "Check All".

Select the check boxes of the sections and questions you wish to export or click on the toolbar and select "Check All"

NOTE: Only the selected information is exported because the amount of information to be reported can be excessive if there are many respondents and questions.

Click on the toolbar and select one of the following:

Export to Word: Launches Word and displays the information from the selected view (tab) in a new document.
Export to Excel: Launches Excel and displays the information from the selected view (tab) in a new spreadsheet.
Export Data with Attachments to Excel: Iasta SmartSource exports the responses to an Excel spreadsheet and places the Excel spreadsheet along with any bidder-provided attachments into a zip file. You will be prompted to enter a name and location for the zip file. When you extract files from the zip file, you must place the attachment files in the same directory as the Excel spreadsheet for the links to attachments within the spreadsheet to work correctly.
Export Data to Excel: Launches Excel and displays the questions, responses, and evaluations you selected. Table questions are exported under their own tab (one table question per tab), therefore, on the Answer Comparison worksheet table questions reference their own worksheet by question number.

Scores are exported to the Score View worksheet. Calculations are included for total cells so you can experiment with scores and weights.
