Attachments
|
You can attach documents and files to a project and make them available to project attendees. Attachments can be used to store and distribute specific instructions about the bidding or awarding process, detailed requirements, background information or any other information you want to store with the project or distribute to project attendees.
You can also attach template files from your Document Library. If there are standard files that you re-use it makes sense to save them in your document library and then attach them to projects as needed.
Sponsors can choose whether attachments are published or unpublished. Published attachments are available to all project attendees, sponsors and bidders, when the project is published. Unpublished attachments are only visible to project attendees from the sponsor company. The status of unpublished attachments appears in bold red type on attachment lists.
Sponsor and bidder users in the Iasta SmartSource Desktop see Attachments in the Attachments branch for the project in the Connections and Projects tree. Bidders who use the Iasta SmartSource Portal site, can see a list of Attachments on their Project Details page (click the name of a project in the Current or Historical Projects list).
